About Intelligility

Intelligence meets agility.

Intelligility is an AI development, education, experimentation and venture-building ecosystem. It exists because the barrier between an idea and working software is collapsing, and that changes who gets to invent.

What we believe

Ideas should no longer die because they are too expensive, too complicated, or require months of traditional development.

This is not a claim that anyone can type a sentence and receive enterprise software. It is something more interesting: AI dramatically increases the leverage available to people who know how to think, design, experiment, solve problems and build.

Traditional development skill did not become worthless. It became more valuable per hour, because the mechanical part shrank and the judgment part didn't. Intelligility teaches and practices that discipline.

Joseph S. Kahn — founder

Built by a builder.

Joseph S. Kahn was building technology decades before "vibe coding" had a name.

As a developer, technology executive, entrepreneur, digital marketer and two-time Microsoft award winner, Joseph has spent his career figuring out how technology creates leverage — first for himself, then for teams, then for companies.

He came from an era where building software meant learning the machines. Today the machines are learning us. Understanding both eras is the point: the fundamentals came from traditional development, the speed comes from AI, and neither is useful without the other.

Intelligility is bigger than one person by design. Joseph's job is to make sure it is built by people who actually know how technology works.

Two eras

1990s

Building for the commercial internet when there were no visual builders, no frameworks worth the name, and no shortcuts. You learned the machine or you didn't ship.

2000s

Software development and digital marketing at the same time — an unusual combination then, and the reason the work has always been about outcomes rather than technology for its own sake.

2010s

Technology leadership at CIO/CTO level. Systems, teams, budgets, security, and the difference between what a company says it wants and what it needs.

Now

AI is the largest shift in software creation since the browser. Intelligility is the exploration of what it means for who gets to build.

Want to build something?

Whether that means learning, hiring a studio, deploying an agent or starting a company — the first step is the same conversation.
